Have you wanted to discover processes that work with mixed media collage?

Are you looking at new ways to use plaster, cement, household paint along with traditional materials?

Have you ever seen a decayed wa or a street surface you wish you could use as inspiration?

Would you like to branch out and experiment using innovative collage techniques?

This class is a comprehensive dive into DIY techniques for creating textured surfaces and elements for use in collage and mixed media designs. Whether you find inspiration in the decay of an urban graffitied wall, subtle details on the city street, patterns found in interior design, or weathered walls of an abandoned home, I’ll guide you through the process of translating what you see into evocative, tactile works of art.

Prior to the four live sessions, participants will review prerecorded lessons including my encaustic basics lesson for those who wish to utilize the medium in their final works.

In the four 90-minute live class discussions and lectures, demos and in-depth Q&A, you will broaden the foundation of your creative practice.  This course will also include a resource guide identifying where to get the best materials and supplies, 3 months of access to the class recordings.
